example problems, better text, revised chapter layout, and more.

We are back at it again! I am back from the
2008
National Student Steel Bridge Competition that was held at the
University of Florida (Go Gators!) and have started the third pass
revision of this text with a goal of making the chapters more
consistent and readable. I am also adding PDF versions of the
chapters as they become final. This work will continue
throughout the summer. 25 Sept 2007
As the semester progresses, students using this text have
proposed a number of enhancements. These have
been take under advisement and some are being implemented right away. In
particular there has been a major upgrade to the bolts chapter.

We now have a new URL and a substantially upgraded text.
Check out the new homework problems. Most chapters now have
example problems and more are on the way. There is also means
for reporting errors and making suggestions for improvement
associated with each chapter. |
